The mdevctl utility can be used for managing and persisting devices in the mediated device framework of the Linux kernel. Mediated devices are sub-devices of a parent device (such as a vGPU) that can be dynamically created and used by drivers like vfio-mdev for assignment to virtual machines. This enhancement update adds the mdevctl package to AlmaLinux (BZ#1746043)
